Bart Van Eyk Bart van Eyk, Chief Executive Officer
Bart van Eyk is a co-founder of Musoni and has 15 years experience in international business development and commerce in microfinance and banking environments. Bart studied at the Royal Military Academy in Breda followed by his masters in Business Administration at the University of Nijmegen. Bart held several positions with ABN AMRO bank, most recent as a Deputy Manager successfully building a new Private Banking business in Spain. Bart did microfinance assignments as an interim manager for NGO’s in Peru and Argentina, before starting as Musoni's Chief Operations Officer responsible for the operational roll-out, business development and investment management.
Andrew Taylor Andrew Taylor, Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Taylor is a UK Chartered Accountant who started his career at KPMG in London and Hong Kong and who has spent the last 25 years working for SME’s. Andrew also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. Andrew has invested in and worked in a number of young growing businesses. He has broad experience of international company formation and establishing global multi-currency accounting and reporting systems. He also has experience of raising funds and managing investor relations. Andrew is currently a trustee of a number of charities and is a non-executive Director of an UK based SME.
Cameron Goldie-Scot Cameron Goldie-Scot, Chief Operations Officer
Cameron has three years microfinance and East Africa experience. He is currently responsible for managing the ongoing development of the Musoni system, as well as the continued provision of IT services to Musoni Kenya. He previously worked in Business Development for Musoni BV, and before that was Implementation Team Manager, responsible for setting up operations on the ground in Kenya. Before Musoni, Cameron worked as an independent consultant in East Africa, advising and running projects with multiple MFIs on how best to enable their clients to partner with mobile operators. Cameron graduated with an MA (Hons) from St Andrew's University, Scotland.
Maurice Francke Maurice Francke, IT Specialist
After working for several years as an application manager in the Dutch healthcare sector Maurice Francke moved to Ecuador in 2008 where he founded Andesk, an IT outsourcing company providing remote SAP support. Maurice managed daily operations and expanded the companies' activities in the outsourcing market with webservices and data-entry services. In 2010 he moved back to the Netherlands where he joined the Musoni IT-team.
Sander Sander van der Heyden, IT Specialist
Sander is a versatile IT specialist, who is at his best working in the gap between business and IT. He graduated in Business and IT in Groningen, while also working as an IT freelancer in internet related activities. After graduating Sander worked for Robeco and Rabobank as an application specialist gaining financial experience. At Musoni Sander is part of the IT Team, working on daily operations, development and long term strategy.
Vincent van Dugteren Vincent van Dugteren, Implementation Team Manager
Vincent van Dugteren studied Business & IT and International Management at Twente University and started his career in Business Development at ING in 2007, where he worked on the launch of various retail banking and insurance greenfields in South East Asia and Eastern Europe. In 2009 he launched a consultancy business focused on emerging markets. Since then Vincent has advised SMEs and Corporates from over 25 countries on international expansion. Early 2012 Vincent relocated to Uganda from where he joined Musoni in April 2012.
Ashling Lobato Ashling Lobato, Funding Officer
Ashling is a qualified and registered on the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, and is holder of a law degree and masters in both English law (University of Cambridge) and French law (Université de Paris II, Panthéon-Assas). From August 2012, Ashling joined Musoni as Funding Officer, working closely with the CEO to secure funding, as well being transaction manager and corporate secretary to Musoni B.V. Having completed her 2-year legal training at Linklaters LLP in London, Ashling chose to pursue her legal career further in private practice in the Netherlands, with Baker and McKenzie Amsterdam N.V. as an associate in their Banking and Finance department. Following an in-house position with Equity Trust Amsterdam N.V., Ashling decided to take a career break to re-assess her career path, which ultimately led her to choosing micro-finance as the perfect combination of her acquired legal, transactional and relationship skills in the context of a social enterprise which she is both passionate about and firmly believes in.
